Kenz Al Malik was launched in 2022. Top notes are Grapefruit, Pink Pepper, Vetiver, Bergamot, Lemon and Sea Notes; middle notes are Grapefruit, Ginger, Cedar, Nutmeg, Mint, Labdanum and Jasmine; base notes are Ginger, Amberwood, Incense and Sandalwood.
This fragrance unmistakably carries a blue aroma, though it doesn’t precisely replicate any of the classics such as Bleu de Chanel or Sauvage. It confidently treads in that direction, and I’ll make some comparisons.

Opening: The initial notes of grapefruit and pink pepper are discernible but not as robust or true to life as one might expect. The presence of woods is evident from the outset, though initially, it leans more towards vetiver. At this stage, it may evoke a sense of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum, primarily because the grapefruit note isn’t as prominent as it is in the Eau de Toilette version.

Heart: It transitions into a sweet and light amber note that carries woody undertones, perhaps stemming from amberwood. There’s also a strong and refreshing airiness, possibly attributed to hedione, which some describe as having a ginger-like quality, accompanied by a notably bitter and smoky wood character. The amber in this composition lacks the sweetness found in Bleu de Chanel EDP and doesn’t possess the animalic or saline qualities of ambergris/ambroxan as seen in Sauvage.

Base: The previously noted fresh airiness gradually diminishes, while the amber and woods persist. However, it doesn’t convey the captivating and enigmatic incense essence found in Bleu de Chanel EDT or Dylan Blue. Instead, it leans more towards a smoky wood profile.

In conclusion, it’s a commendable fragrance, particularly suited for those who appreciate an amber note with a fresh twist and have a penchant for woody scents. Performance-wise, it somewhat resembles Dylan Blue. I would advise against it for teenagers or very young individuals, as it may come across as slightly too bitter for that demographic
