Only The Brave by Diesel is a woody, spicy scent for men. It first came out in 2009 and was made by three famous perfume makers — Alienor Massenet, Olivier Polge, and Pierre Wargnye.

It starts with bright notes of lemon and mandarin orange. In the middle, you’ll smell violet, cedar wood, and coriander. The scent finishes with warm notes of amber, leather, and benzoin, along with a touch of labdanum and styrax.

Diesel worked with L’Oréal to make this fragrance, which was inspired by Diesel’s founder, Renzo Rosso. He has a tattoo on his hand that says “RR,” which stands for Only The Brave, and that became the name of both the perfume and his charity foundation
